During, for and since

DURING: Use during to talk about a period of time when something happens (during the winter; during the holidays)
FOR: Use for to say how long something happens or continues (for two weeks; for 10 minutes)
SINCE: Use since when you want to say from a time in the past until now (since I was ten; since 1990)
